About Us

Bluebird was developed by a doctor for doctors, and it’s backed by IntelMS (Pty) Ltd.

The primary developer and Medical Director of Bluebird is Dr Darryl Garth Vine, a medical doctor with 14 years’ clinical experience – both as a GP and as a specialist – combined with 10 years in the IT field.  Dr. Vine holds medical qualifications from South Africa, the UK, the USA and Canada. He is a member of the Royal college of Surgeons of Canada. He also chairs the HIV committee of ASTM international's CCR standard (a clinical XML standard endorsed by organisations representing more than 500 000 US physicans).

During his many years in a busy practice, Dr. Vine designed the majority of the time saving tools that IntelMS has now refined and commercialised. These tools remove much of the burden involved in private practice, leaving more time for clinical medicine. The result is a much more rewarding private practice experience.

IntelMS (Pty) Ltd is a Cape Town based company which has its roots in the organization that founded Internet Africa. IntelMS has specialised in the development and support of productivity and organisational tools for physicians.
